A sheet of pre-cut Artwox Model painting masks for a model of the battleship USS Iowa BB-61 in 1:350 scale. An accessory for a kit, neither a model nor a wooden deck.
Responsibility details are not available.
You are buying a painting aid, not a model. The sheet holds self-adhesive masks cut to the shapes of one particular kit, with which you can spray areas of different shade with a sharp and symmetrical boundary. The set is cut for the Very Fire VF350910 kit, so check before buying that this is the one you have.
With pre-cut masks the match with the kit is absolutely essential. The cut matches one particular release of the model, and that holds true even within the same brand. Different makers produce the same ship with differently laid out deck areas, and the difference tends to be so large that the masks simply will not fit. Before you reach for a scalpel and start altering the masks, lay them on dry and go over the outlines. If they fit, the job is done in no time. If they do not, buying the right variant is usually more sensible than recutting the masks.
Store the sheet flat and out of direct light and heat. A bent or twisted carrier is hard to flatten on a deck, and a raised spot shows up as a blurred edge during spraying. Take the masks out of the sheet only at the moment you are going to stick them on, and leave them on the backing paper until then. Pick small pieces up with tweezers and never put them down sticky side on the bench, because dust kills the tack at once. Touch the deck as little as possible before sticking them on; grease from the fingers makes a mask hold worse than a clean surface.
The package contains masks only. The kit and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
