1:72 Wild West - Wooden Signs is a diorama accessory with wooden shop signs from the setting of the American Wild West, prepared for 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for building a diorama, not a kit of a vehicle or a figure. The subject is the wooden shop signs that hung above the entrances to saloons, general stores, stagecoach stations and sheriffs' offices. The 1:72 scale given in the name matches small figures and small structures.
The settlement of the western United States in the second half of the nineteenth century gave rise to the look of a small town that everyone knows today: board fronts with a tall false front above them, a sidewalk of planks, a hitching rail and hand-painted lettering over it all. It is precisely the lettering that gives a scene a name and a story. Without it even carefully built scenery stays indefinite and the viewer cannot tell whether they are looking at a mining settlement or at a station by the tracks.
It is a diorama accessory in its own right. Figures, structures, paints and glue are not part of the delivery.
