1:100 BT-7 model 1937 with a radio set is a resin kit of the Soviet fast tank with the conical turret in its radio-equipped form.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Soviet fast tank of the BT family in the version with the conical turret, with radio equipment added. Zebrano offers it as a resin casting in 1:100 scale, that is, in a size suited to numerous formations as well as to a display case where the collection keeps one scale.
The BT range grew out of the concept of the American designer Walter Christie, which allowed running on tracks and, once the tracks were taken off, on wheels. The version designated model 1937 was given an all-welded turret of conical shape with sloped walls, which improved resistance to hits. The armament was a 45 mm gun. Vehicles fitted with a radio set served as command machines, and the signals equipment took up part of the space inside, so the quantity of ammunition carried went down, specifically from a hundred and eighty-eight rounds to a hundred and forty-five. The rod aerial was characteristic; older command machines still used to carry a conspicuous frame hoop around the turret.
The hardest part is the running gear with its large wheels. We recommend assembling and painting it before the hull settles into place, otherwise you will struggle to reach the lower surfaces with a brush. Soviet green easily sinks into darkness in a small scale, so mix in a little yellow or gray and lighten the surfaces toward the upper edges. Apply mud only on the lower quarter of the vehicle and let it dry in thin layers.
None of it is finished or painted; the resin parts are waiting to be cut off, glued and sprayed.
