A set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio for a realistic fitting out of the cab interior in 1:35 scale. The raised, fully colored details are printed on backing decal paper and are applied as a waterslide decal. They bring the instrument panel, the controls and other three-dimensional details without laborious painting, and they are a convenient alternative to photo-etched parts.
The M54 is an American heavy off-road truck of the 5-ton class with 6x6 drive, which formed the backbone of military transport for several decades. The M54 family covers a range of variants with cargo and with specialized bodies. A utilitarian cab with a simple instrument panel and rugged controls is typical of this class of vehicle.
Cut the part out, leave it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper onto the surface. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on gloss clear coat (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22); on edges and in pressed recesses a drop of super glue helps. A decal softener does not belong here, as its chemistry attacks the printed resin.
The set serves as an accessory for a plastic kit and is not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue, clear coat and paints are not included in the package.
