Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set brings exactly cast wheels for the kit of the British field ambulance Austin K2 Ambulance from Tamiya in 1:48 scale. The accessory from the Czech maker CMK holds wheels with a fine tread pattern and so-called weighted, slightly sagging tires, which suggest the weight of a standing vehicle. They replace the original plastic wheels and raise the realism of the running gear.
The Austin K2/Y was a British light truck whose ambulance version became one of the most widespread medical vehicles of the Allies in the Second World War. The wheels with their characteristic tread pattern are among the details that markedly affect the look of a finished model.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the model of the vehicle itself.
