About product

Exotic Decals 1:48 Italian Gustavs Over Sicily No. 1, Bf 109G in the Regia Aeronautica, part 1

A set of waterslide (wet) decals from the manufacturer Exotic Decals in 1:48 scale devoted to Messerschmitt Bf 109G fighters in the service of the Regia Aeronautica over Sicily. The first part of the series offers the markings of the machines Italy committed to the defense of the island, with their distinctive national insignia and tactical markings.

How the decals are applied

  • First give the model a gloss clear coat for a smooth surface.
  • Soak the decal briefly in lukewarm water and slide it into place.
  • Fine-tune the position, draw the excess water off and use a softener so that it settles into the detail.
  • Finally overcoat it so that the decals blend with the surface.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers of Bf 109G fighters who are looking for Italian schemes.
  • Anyone interested in the Mediterranean theater and the Regia Aeronautica.

The set contains only the decals; neither the model nor paints are included in the package.
