A set of seat belts in 1:35 scale for the cockpit of the Japanese Nakajima B5N2 carrier bomber, known under the Allied code name Kate.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nakajima B5N2 was a carrier-borne torpedo and bomber aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy from the time of the Second World War. It carried a crew of three, and above them stretched a long run of glazing that joined all three stations into a single glasshouse. That is precisely why the interior is visible along the whole length of the cockpit on a model of this aircraft and cannot be skimped on.
The set contains seat belts for the cockpit in 1:35 scale. They step in where a kit deals with the belts only with a suggested relief on the seat or leaves them out entirely. The parts can be shaped, so a belt can hang loosely over the edge of a seat, wrap around the backrest or lie thrown aside, the way it looks on a real machine once the cockpit has been left.
The set is for modelers who do not want to leave an empty seat under a glazed cockpit in a large scale. The reward is an interior that looks inhabited even without figures.
This is an accessory for a kit. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
