The sixth package of the paved range carries the suffix for Corners in its name, that is, an application for corners. Corners and bends tend to be the hardest discipline on a paved surface: the pattern of the stones turns in them, fans out and every inaccuracy is visible at first glance. A set with a corner application solves that problem for you and saves hours of cutting and fitting individual stones into an arc.
Fit the corner parts first and only then lay the straight areas from the other sets of the range against them; the opposite procedure usually ends with a joint in the most visible place. When weathering, run the dry brush along the direction of the arc of the pattern; the turning of the stones around the corner will stand out that way.
A practical aid for anyone building a more complicated layout than a plain rectangle from this range. Experienced diorama builders will appreciate the saving of time, beginners above all the fact that they avoid the most common mistake of paved scenes, a corner in which the pattern visibly breaks. The manufacturer does not determine a scale, so the usual optical rule of the ratio of the size of the stones to the model applies. The result is a continuous surface on which the eye finds no distracting break, even when the paving turns around a whole block.
