The set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals serves for detailing an interior and is not a kit. A flexible film with raised colored elements will replace the instrument panels, panels and other details of the cockpit of the Handley Page Victor B Mk2 bomber in 1:72 scale. The maker is the Kelik brand. The decals are shaped for the Airfix kit.
The Handley Page Victor is a British strategic bomber, one of the three so-called V-bombers carrying the nuclear arsenal during the Cold War. It was distinguished by its characteristic crescent wing. The B Mk2 version had stronger engines and a modified wing for flights at great altitudes; later a number of the machines were rebuilt into tankers.
The elements are carefully prised out of the sheet and stuck onto the appropriate surfaces of the cockpit. The film adapts to slightly curved surfaces; degrease the surfaces and press the decal down into the details with a soft cotton swab. Whether a decal softener can be used with it should be verified in the manufacturer's instructions; with printed elements the makers tend to be cautious about it. Colored details thus come about without painting.
This is an extra for a model, not the kit itself. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
