Responsibility details are not available.
This detailing resin set from the manufacturer Art Scale in 1:48 scale holds 3D printed exhaust stacks for models of the P-400 Airacobra fighter. It is supplied as a pair for the left and the right side and it replaces the simplified plastic exhausts with well drawn parts with hollow mouths. It is an aftermarket accessory, not an aircraft model. The attachment matches the sides of the fuselage of the Arma Hobby kit.
P-400 was the export designation of the Bell Airacobra fighter, originally intended for the Royal Air Force. A number of the machines ended up serving with American units in the Pacific, over Guadalcanal in particular. The aircraft was notable for an engine placed behind the pilot and for nose landing gear; the exhaust stacks along the sides of the fuselage are among its characteristic details.
Separate the parts from the print supports and clean them up with respiratory protection. Wash them and apply a primer before gluing. Color the exhausts in metallic and rusty shades; pigments and washes will give them the soot and heat discoloration. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The set is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
