SX-Art painting masks Messerschmitt Bf-109 F-2 1:72 are self-adhesive pre-cut masks for cleanly painting the glazing and other features of the German fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive, precisely cut painting masks from SX-Art in 1:72 scale, intended for the German Messerschmitt Bf-109 F-2 fighter. The masks make it possible to paint the framing of the glazed canopy and other round and clear features crisply and cleanly, without the drawn-out business of taping by hand.
The Messerschmitt Bf-109 was the backbone German fighter of the Second World War. The F version, nicknamed Friedrich, brought an aerodynamically cleaner fuselage, rounded wingtips and a more powerful engine; the F-2 was armed with an engine-mounted cannon and two machine guns and entered service in 1941.
Stick the masks onto degreased and dry glazing, press them down carefully around the frames and spray thin coats of paint. The crispest edges come from an airbrush. Lift the masks off carefully once the paint has dried, so as not to pull fresh finish away.
These are painting masks, not a model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
