Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small parts depicting American tropical combat boots in the version designated Panama, in 1:72 scale. It belongs to a line of figure accessories in which heads, hands and other small items for alterations and conversions are released. The boots suit places where the original part of a figure does not match the period required, or where equipment left lying has to be added to a scene. The number of pieces in the package is stated by the manufacturer.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary plastic cement will not bond them; use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and dry fit the joint first. Cut off the excess material and the traces of production with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the remainder with fine sandpaper so that the shape of the sole is not damaged. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap before painting and let them dry completely, otherwise the paint will not hold. A primer is appropriate with this material; only then apply the color and bring out the sole and the stitching with dark shading.
The set will be appreciated by modelers who alter their figures and are not satisfied with what comes in a kit, and by builders of smaller scenes, where even a small, well-chosen piece of equipment shifts the overall impression. In 1:72 scale these are very small parts, so tweezers with fine jaws and good light are worth having.
Figures, the model, paints, varnishes and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
