Mark I offers decals in 1:144 for the Cuban machines of the Hawker Sea Fury type. The sheet will add to a finished and painted model the markings you will mostly not find in ordinary kits.
The Sea Fury is a British single-seat fighter with a massive radial engine, the last piston combat aircraft in the armament of the Royal Navy. It arose toward the end of the Second World War, but entered production service only after it, and it was built for operation from the deck of an aircraft carrier: with folding wings, a strengthened undercarriage and an arrestor hook. In performance it ranked among the fastest piston aircraft of all, and thanks to its solid structure a number of airframes have survived to the present day in civilian hands. Besides Britain it was taken by a number of overseas customers, among them Cuba, where the machines flew from land airfields.
The Cuban machines wore dark finishes and light artwork on them can show through after application. The sheet gives the best result when you spray under the motif a small patch of white or light gray paint somewhat smaller than the artwork itself. Let the base dry thoroughly and polish it so that the edge does not give itself away.
