1:144 Irish Air Corps insignia (1954-present) is a Mark I decal sheet aimed at the more recent shape of the Irish aviation markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
Decals of a small scale meant for the later stage of the Irish aviation markings as the name of the item defines it. The goods serve as the final layer of a build: you build and paint the model from another box and only then give it its nationality with this sheet. The figure 2 sets appears in the name, but the contents of the sheet are not described by it.
Even after the middle of the twentieth century the Irish Air Corps remained a body of small extent, aimed at training, transport, patrolling over the coast and support for civil services. The markings of the machines changed over those decades in form as well as in size, among other things toward the less conspicuous variants that have established themselves in air forces in the last decades. It is precisely this development that makes the later Irish aircraft a rewarding subject for a collection.
Leave the whole sheet until the end, after the paintwork has matured. Immerse a cut-off motif in lukewarm water for only a few seconds and let it come away on a paper towel; soaking for too long washes the adhesive out. In place, slide the decal with a brush, draw the surplus water off with a cotton swab and let it dry undisturbed so that the film does not crease.
