Responsibility details are not available.
The Skoda 1203 is a Czechoslovak light commercial vehicle that was built from the end of the 1960s and for long decades was one of the most common vans on Czechoslovak roads. The boxy body with a high roof and a flat front was made in several forms, from a panel van through a flatbed to a minibus, so the vehicle turned up at companies, with tradesmen and in public services. That is exactly what makes it a rewarding subject for a collection of period vehicles.
The model in 1:43 scale captures the vehicle in the color scheme of the postal and telecommunications service as of 1974. The 1:43 scale is the most widespread one for collector car models, so the item matches the other cars in an ordinary collection in size and suits a display case as well as a diorama with a period street scene.
The model will keep its looks longest in a closed display case out of direct sunlight, which takes the saturation out of the paint and the printing. Lift the dust off with a soft wide brush or a stream of air from a short distance. A cloth easily catches on fine parts such as the wipers, the mirrors or the antenna and bends them. Pick the model up by the roof and the underside of the body, then.
A display case and other equipment for a collection are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
