A finished collector model of the Skoda Felicia Combi after its facelift, that is in the form designated FL, in 1:43 scale and in the Granit Grey metallic shade. The model is listed with the additional designation Magic. It is released by Abrex, a Czech brand focused on models of Skoda cars. It is not a kit: the model arrives assembled and painted at the factory.
The Felicia was the first Skoda car developed under the wing of the new owner and became a transitional model between the Favorit and the modern generation of Mlada Boleslav cars. In 1998 it received a facelift known as FL: it brought a reworked front with a different grille and bumpers, a revised interior and a number of details that gave the car a more modern look. The Combi version with its extended roof and large luggage compartment was among the most popular variants and remains, for many Czech drivers, the first car they remember from the family.
The 1:43 scale is the classic collector format for passenger cars, in which the detail of the grille, the lights and the interior can be held while a whole range of models still fits a cabinet. The metal body gives the model a pleasant weight and the factory metallic paint shows well under a spotlight. Display the model out of direct sunlight and remove dust from it with a soft brush or a cloth without chemicals, so that the paint stays smooth and free of smears.
