M4A3 75MM TANK from Tiger Model is the American medium tank rendered in comically inflated proportions, that is, as a stylized miniature with no fixed scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the American medium tank armed with a gun of 75 mm caliber, turned into a comic form. The goods belong among stylized and egg models, where the whole hull is deliberately shortened and the turret and running gear look oversized instead. That is exactly why no scale is given for goods like this: the proportions against the real machine are broken on purpose and no fraction would describe them.
The letters A3 in the designation of the Sherman mean the version with the Ford GAA gasoline engine, an eight-cylinder unit designed specifically for tank use. On this version the hull was welded, and from 1944 the M4A3 became the main type with which the American army fought in Western Europe. The gun of 75 mm caliber was not at all strong against late German armor, but it had a generous high-explosive shell, so it suited firing positions, anti-tank guns and infantry. Later versions received a longer barrel of 76 mm caliber and wider tracks.
The caricatured shapes have large continuous areas on which an even spraying of olive green comes out well. Highlight the sharp edges with a lighter shade and darken the recesses instead with a thin, flowing shade. The white star and the numbering will take even hand painting, because they are large on a stylized hull. Do not overdo the wear, as a cleaner rendering suits the overall character better than heavy weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
