A small aid for the workbench. The base serves to keep a bottle of super glue standing firmly so that it does not tip over when you set it down while working one-handed. It is neither glue nor a chemical, but an accessory that solves a very specific everyday nuisance.
Super glue is dosed drop by drop and the bottle tends to be tall, narrow and light. One catch of a sleeve or of the airbrush hose and the result is a spilled puddle that hardens on the bench, on a drawing or on a model under construction within moments. A stable stand heads that scenario off and at the same time keeps the bottle always in one place, so you are not hunting for it with your eyes.
Stand the base on a flat surface within reach of the hand you usually dose the glue with, but out of the path along which you carry parts. After work, wipe the neck of the bottle so that the glue residue does not harden in the tip. If something drips onto the stand, let the stain cure and peel it off carefully; solvents could damage the surface.
The aid comes from Czech production focused on small modeling tools and jigs. The glue itself is a separate item, which you choose according to the viscosity and curing speed your work needs.
