Vietnam Pilots Standing/Climbing SET1 in 1:48 scale brings airmen in standing poses and climbing to the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package holds figures in two situations that take place outside the cockpit: standing on the apron and climbing to the cockpit. The Rise144models brand releases the same subject in several sizes and this variant covers 1:48, that is the scale the vast majority of fighters and attack aircraft come out in. The figures will therefore find a use with machines of various types without your having to change an established collection.
A model of an aircraft gives the viewer no idea of size on its own. As soon as a human figure is added to it, the perception changes and the machine suddenly reads as massive. The climbing pose adds movement to that, because it makes the eye follow the direction upward to the open canopy. The pair of poses also makes it possible to build a small story: one man waits on the apron, the other is already climbing to the seat, and the viewer fills that moment in.
Small aviation figures are easier to do seated at a table with your hand supported. Finish the kit and the helmet first and only then deal with the joint to the model. On the climbing figure, check whether the feet and the palms are touching their support; the slightest gap shows when viewed from the side. A flight suit reads more believably in a muted shade than in a saturated color, because service wear mutes the tone.
