1:144 F-16C decals WARHAWKS (HAVE GLASS SCHEME)

WARHAWKS markings for the F-16C in 1:144 scale

An accessory for finishing a completed airframe, not the aircraft itself. The set carries the name WARHAWKS and the name states expressly that it relates to the gray HAVE GLASS scheme. Anyone building a miniature squadron gains in this way a particular machine instead of a generally painted model, and that without having to draw anything laboriously by hand.

What lies behind the term HAVE GLASS

That is the label on American F-16 aircraft for the later unified gray finish with low reflectivity, which replaced the older two-tone camouflage. The airframe reads darker and more evenly across its area, while the national and unit markings tend to be rendered in a muted way, often only in shades of gray. Markings for these machines therefore differ from the older schemes and cannot be swapped around without thought. Anyone who realizes that in advance will spare themselves disappointment with a model that looks like two different periods at once.

How to work with elements this small

• Let the ground cure properly and level the surface smooth.
• Move the elements one at a time; the position can only be corrected in the first moments.
• Keep checking the seating against the light and from the side.
• Finally unify the surface with a coat, so that the edges do not stand out.

Suitable for

The set aims at builders of small scales who prefer a collection of particular machines to a universal finish. It will also appeal to those who concentrate on present-day American fighter aviation and want the appearance of the airframe to match the later gray finishes. The model of the aircraft, the paints and the varnish are not supplied with this item.
