A set of landing gear bay masks for a model of the Japanese B5N Kate torpedo bomber in 1:32 scale. According to the name it is intended for the Infinity kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nakajima B5N, known to the Allies under the code name Kate, was a Japanese carrier-borne torpedo and level bomber. For its day it was a modern machine with all-metal construction, wings that folded for the hangars of aircraft carriers and retractable landing gear. In the arsenal of Japanese naval aviation it was one of the main attack types at the start of the war in the Pacific and it carried a crew of three.
A set of masks in the large 1:32 scale intended for masking the landing gear bays during spraying. The name ties it to a kit from the Infinity brand. In this scale the inside of the bay is a large, clearly visible area, so it is worth painting it separately and keeping the edge of the shade exactly on the rim of the cutout. A mask does that job better and faster than tape cut freehand, with which the exact outline is hard to find.
The masks are supplied on their own. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. For the placement of the individual pieces and the application procedure, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
