RESArm 1:48 A-1 Skyraider (early) weighted wheels is a resin accessory with realistically bulged main landing gear tires for models of the Douglas A-1 Skyraider attack aircraft in its early form.

This is a resin (3D-printed) set of replacement wheels, not an aircraft kit. The wheels are modeled as weighted: the tires have a realistic flattening and bulge where they touch the ground, of the kind that forms under the weight of a standing machine. The set is intended for models of the A-1 Skyraider attack aircraft in its early form in 1:48 scale.
It replaces the wheels from the box with more faithful resin parts with a fine tread and a shaded hub. The weighted shape of the tire brings a standing model on a base or in a diorama to life considerably, because wheels from ordinary kits tend to be perfectly round and look as if the aircraft were floating.
First wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue, cut any print supports off with a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding. Spraying a primer base before painting is recommended.
This is an accessory for more advanced modelers. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
