1:48 A-10A/C Thunderbolt II, stencils for the canopy frames, outside and inside (Italeri) are cut shapes for spraying the cockpit framing of the American attack aircraft.

A set of shapes for spraying the cockpit frames of the American A-10 attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It covers the face and the reverse of the glazing, so the framing looks convincing even when you look into the cockpit. The cut matches the Italeri kit, which you will find in the name of the item.
The whole machine grew around a seven-barrel 30 mm rotary cannon: the designers started with the weapon and only then did the airframe grow around it. The pilot is protected by a bath of titanium plates, and a pair of turbofan engines sits high above the rear fuselage, where the wing and the twin fins partly shield them. The teardrop glazing gives a view in almost every direction, because in an attack from low altitude the pilot needs to see the target right below him.
It is that bubble that tends to be unpleasant when painting. The curve of the windscreen cannot be outlined with one piece of tape and the seating strip runs in a slight bend along its whole length. Lay the shapes onto a degreased and dry part and press from the center toward the edges. Apply the paint thinly and nothing will settle under the edge, and uncover while the finish has not yet fully cured. Do not put a shape back once lifted; the second time it will not seat into a corner as exactly. And before you let the air through, make sure that no gap shows anywhere between the frame and the edge.
