A correction set for the air intakes in the wing of the A-26 Invader in 1:48 scale. It replaces the corresponding parts of the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A-26 Invader is an American twin-engine attack aircraft of the end of the Second World War. After the war it served for many more years and went through a number of modifications, so its appearance differs from one machine to the next. The leading edge of its wing carries air intakes whose shape is among the details a modeler notices first.
The correction set replaces the corresponding parts of the kit with more accurately shaped ones. It comes into its own where the shape of the intakes in the kit does not look right to you and you do not want to reshape it yourself. Before buying, compare the parts with your kit and check in the manufacturer's instructions what the set is meant for.
The set is meant for builders who care about an accurate shape and do not mind cutting into a finished part. It assumes confidence with a blade and abrasive and care when seating the part in the wing.
The package contains the parts for correcting the air intakes. The base kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
