A resin set of control surfaces from Aires. It replaces the moving surfaces of a plastic kit, that is the ailerons, the elevator and the rudder, with more accurate castings and lets you deflect them for a livelier pose. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers, built into a base model of the A-37B Dragonfly in 1:48 scale.
The Cessna A-37 Dragonfly was an American light jet attack aircraft derived from the T-37 trainer. The A-37B version had a strengthened structure and wider options for carrying armament. It was a small, agile machine used in support of ground troops.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding resin. Lay down a primer before painting; choose how far to deflect the control surfaces to suit the scene and blend the transitions carefully.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
