Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Douglas A-4C Skyhawk carrier-based attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. Hasegawa Skyhawk kits are among the best in this scale, with a finely engraved surface and an exact build. The box contains clear cockpit parts and decals; check the exact contents of the box and the markings offered in the manufacturer's instructions.
The A-4 Skyhawk was a deliberately small and light carrier-based attack aircraft with a characteristic triangular (delta) wing that did not have to fold. Its nimbleness earned it the nickname Scooter. The A-4C version was one of the early production variants; it was powered by a J65 turbojet and brought improved avionics along with the ability to attack in reduced visibility. Skyhawks served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps and with a number of other countries for decades.
Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement. Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage; mask the glazing and spray over a primer. The classic finish has gloss white undersides and gray upper surfaces, and on gloss areas the decals should go on over a clear coat. Fit the drop tanks and the wing stores according to the markings you choose, at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
