This set from Aires in 1:48 scale replaces the stock cockpit of a plastic A-4 Skyhawk model in the C and L versions. It holds resin parts, with cockpit sets as a rule rounded off with photo-etched details and an instrument panel film. It is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is an American single-seat carrier-based light attack aircraft. It was marked by its small size, low weight and simple but tough structure, thanks to which it stayed in service for many years and with many users. The A-4C and A-4L versions are among the early and upgraded machines with the corresponding changes to the avionics.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Dry-fit the replacement cockpit tub against the walls of the model before closing the fuselage.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
