A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This set of finely cast resin replaces the barrels of the on-board cannon of the American Douglas A-4E/F Skyhawk light attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The faithfully cast mouths are drilled out and thin-walled, so the laborious drilling of plastic parts falls away. The part is meant for more advanced modelers with experience of resin.
The barrels of the cannon at the wing roots are a small but conspicuous detail that is hard to drill out on plastic parts and easily damaged. The resin casting offers a sharp, open mouth and an accurate shape, so the armament looks realistic. Once glued on and painted in metallic shades they markedly lift the impression of a finished model.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
