1:48 A6M2 Zero wheels under load is a resin, 3D-printed detail set from RESArm with realistically flattened tires.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin, 3D-printed replacement set of wheels in 1:48 scale for the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero carrier fighter. The tires are faithfully flattened at the contact surface, as under load, as if the weight of the aircraft rested on the wheels, which gives the model a realistic stance on the ground. The wheels replace the simplified plastic parts of the kit. It is an accessory for a plastic model, not a whole aircraft.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the main Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War, famous for its great range and, in the early years of the war, for its excellent agility. The A6M2 version was among the first put into service and took part in the fighting from the attack on Pearl Harbor onward. Fine work on the wheels and the imprint of the tread is a small thing that raises the credibility of a standing model.
Separate the parts carefully from the 3D print supports and clean them up; protect your breathing while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). When gluing, take care that the flattened part of the tire sits correctly on the base. Spray the tires with a matte black-gray paint, the rims separately, and add fine dust with pigments.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
