A resin detail accessory from Quickboost for a plastic kit of the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a set of replacement exhausts with deepened openings and finer detail that take the place of the plastic kit parts.
The A6M5 was a Japanese single-engine carrier fighter of the Second World War with a radial engine. The A6M5 version had separate clusters of exhaust stubs, a prominent detail around the engine cowling whose accuracy exact castings improve.
Wash the parts to remove mold release, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. The exhausts come out once painted in burnt steel shades with pigments for scorching and rust. Sand with respiratory protection.
The plastic kit itself and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
