The set brings resin landing gear doors for the A6M5 Zero fighter kit in 1:48 scale. Thin castings with a faithful profile and a well-rendered inner face replace the thicker plastic parts and improve the look of a model with the landing gear lowered. This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory.
The Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero was a later variant of the Japanese carrier-based fighter of the Second World War, prized for its agility and range. The landing gear doors are among the clearly visible details with the landing gear exposed.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up; protect your airways when sanding. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the inner faces of the doors to match the real aircraft and, if you like, pick them out with a wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
