A resin detail set, not an airplane model. This resin set from the Aires brand in 1:48 scale brings ejection seats of the ACES II type in their late form. This seat is used in many American jet aircraft, so the set serves as a universal replacement for the simplified seats from the box. It is intended for experienced modelers; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The ACES II (Advanced Concept Ejection Seat) is the standard ejection seat of a number of American combat aircraft, among them for example the F-15, the F-16, the A-10 and the F-22. The late version differs in changes to the harness and the equipment. The resin casting faithfully captures the headrest, the harness and the firing handles, which plastic from the box as a rule only suggests.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
