About product

The open nose section with avionics of the MB-326 1:48 (CMK)

The set shows the open nose bay of the Aermacchi MB-326 trainer and light attack aircraft with its internal electronics (avionics), which can be displayed uncovered on a finished model. It replaces the closed plastic nose of the Italeri kit and makes it possible to show the internal equipment, as it is seen during maintenance of the machine, to striking effect.

Material and building

  • The parts are cast from resin; wash the mold release agent off them before building.
  • The corresponding part of the nose has to be cut out on the plastic model according to the set.
  • Sand the cut faces with respiratory protection and glue with super glue.
  • Bring the internal equipment out with paints and a fine wash.

Who the set is for

  • modelers of the Aermacchi MB-326 aircraft in 1:48 scale
  • builders who want an uncovered nose with avionics
  • more experienced modelers working with resin

This is a supplementary resin set; the base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
