A 3D-printed resin weapon set holding four AIM-9X Sidewinder short-range air-to-air guided missiles in 1:48 scale. It is aftermarket armament for modern fighter aircraft, not an aircraft kit. Crisp 3D printing faithfully captures the characteristic small control surfaces of the latest Sidewinder version. The set is supplied unpainted and usually holds a decal sheet as well.
The AIM-9X is the latest generation of the famous Sidewinder family — a highly agile missile with thrust vectoring and a modern infrared seeker. Present-day Western fighters carry it.
Separate the missiles carefully from the print supports and clean up the cuts. Because the thin surfaces are fragile, work over a mat and bond with super glue. Once painted, apply the markings and unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and racks are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
