Albacore 1:48 is a colored photo-etched set from Eduard for detailing the interior of the Fairey Albacore biplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard, not an aircraft kit. The set is meant to refine the interior of a 1:48 model of the British carrier-based torpedo biplane Fairey Albacore considerably. It usually holds color-printed self-adhesive parts (the instrument panel, the side panels, the belts) as well as bare photo-etched pieces for the cockpit and other details.
The Fairey Albacore was a British carrier-based torpedo and bomber biplane of the Second World War, flown above all by the Fleet Air Arm. It was used for attacks with torpedoes and with bombs and supplemented the older Swordfish. The interior of the open cockpit is clearly visible on the model, and that is where a photo-etched set shows to best advantage.
This is an add-on detail set, not a model in its own right. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
