A cast resin engine cowling from the Quickboost brand for a plastic model of the German Arado Ar 196 floatplane in 1:48 scale. The aftermarket accessory replaces the factory part with a version of more correct shape and finer detail.
The Arado Ar 196 was a German shipboard floatplane reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War with a radial engine. It served as a catapult-launched reconnaissance machine on surface ships as well as for coastal patrols.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, separate the casting block and clean up the mating surface. Glue with super glue, fill any gaps with putty and sand them over.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
