It is not an aircraft model but an accessory, a complete cockpit that replaces the cockpit of a plastic kit of the American AV-8B Harrier II attack aircraft. The set usually includes a cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side consoles, an ejection seat and further details, and small photo-etched parts are often added.
The AV-8B Harrier II is a single-seat attack aircraft capable of vertical and short takeoff and landing, derived from the British Harrier and flown above all by the US Marine Corps. The cockpit is clearly visible on a model under the canopy glazing, so a faithfully cast resin interior lifts the level of the whole build considerably.
Before gluing, wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and any photo-etch as well. Try the fit in the fuselage dry and count on some reworking. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
