A decal set in 1:48 scale from the British maker Xtradecal. It is not a model but a decal sheet with six different marking schemes for models of the twin-engine Avro Anson Mk.I. The fourth part of the collection follows on from the earlier parts and brings further variants, including postwar operators from a number of countries.

The real subject

The Avro Anson served for many years in training, liaison and light duties, and after the Second World War it was used by a number of foreign air forces. This set therefore offers a varied mix of postwar and later schemes from different operators, which gives the modeler the chance to build a less usual variant.

• Meant for an assembled and painted Avro Anson Mk.I model in 1:48 scale
• It holds six marking variants to choose from
• Apply over a smooth gloss base, ideally with a decal softener
• Once dry, unify the surface with a matte or satin clear coat
