Black Dog 1:48 Avro Lancaster Big set is an extensive resin set of details for a model of the British heavy bomber Lancaster in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory, not a kit of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This extensive resin set (Big set) from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog serves to refine a model of the four-engine heavy bomber Avro Lancaster in 1:48 scale comprehensively. A Big set usually brings several detail subassemblies together in one package. It is not a kit of the whole aircraft but a detail set for your base model.
The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engine night bomber, one of the main machines of the bomber force in the Second World War. It became famous for its large bomb load and for its use in demanding night raids over occupied Europe.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and wet-sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Given the size of the model, paint and weather the internal and hard to reach parts before closing it up.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
