This set contains accurate self-adhesive New Ware painting masks for the model of the American Rockwell B-1B Lancer strategic bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an aid that makes it easier to spray the canopy glazing and other features of a large model cleanly. The masks are laser-cut from fine washi (rice paper) tape, follow the shapes of the frames exactly and come off after painting without any adhesive residue.
The Rockwell B-1B Lancer is an American supersonic strategic bomber with a variable-geometry wing. It entered service in the 1980s as a carrier of conventional and strategic weapons with long range and a low radar signature. Its long fuselage and swing wing make the model a large and striking piece.
Spray the glazing first in the color of the frames and then in the exterior color. Transfer the masks carefully, press them down along the frames and remove them once the paint has dried. Thanks to the exact shapes the frames come out sharp and straight. The masks are for single use.
These are painting masks, not a model. Paints, the kit and glue are not included in the package.
