Eduard 1:48 B-25J is a photo-etched detail set for sharpening models of the American medium bomber North American B-25 Mitchell. It is not a model but a metal accessory for a built-up kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds fine metal parts for sharpening plastic models of the bomber North American B-25J Mitchell in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of an airplane – it is an accessory that is glued into a base kit already under construction. The parts aim at the cockpit and the interior, and at further details of the airframe that plastic does not capture.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engine medium bomber widely put into action in the Second World War on every front. The last large production version J was built both in the standard with a glazed nose for a bombardier and in a strike variant with a solid nose full of machine guns for low-level attacks. The machine was famous for its reliability and all-round usefulness.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them in a bending tool and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or epoxy. Once painted and with the recesses picked out, the interior gains markedly in depth.
This is an accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
