The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber used in the Second World War. It was powered by a pair of powerful radial engines and the machine became known for its high speed and its defensive machine gun armament. Faithfully rendered barrels for these guns are among the details that most reveal the quality of a finished model.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent from the mold. Separate the barrels from the casting blocks by cutting, not by snapping, and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand the resin with respiratory protection or wet, because resin dust is harmful. Spray the barrels in a dark metallic shade and lightly bring out the metal sheen.
It is supplied as an unglued and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
