A plastic kit of the Soviet BA-20 light armored car in the early production version in 1:48 scale from ACE. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted injection-molded kit; it is a short-run kit, which more experienced modelers will appreciate.
The BA-20 was a Soviet light armored car derived from the chassis of a civilian passenger car. It served for reconnaissance, communications and command duties from the second half of the 1930s and it was committed at the beginning of the Second World War. The early production version had a characteristic form of hull and turret.
With short-run kits, expect to clean the parts up more carefully and perhaps to fill the joints. Glue them with a thin cement for plastic; we recommend a primer, an airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments. Assemble and paint the chassis before closing the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
