Eduard 1:48 Beaufighter Mk. VI SPACE is a set of pre-printed 3D decals for the cockpit of a model of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk. VI in 1:48 scale. An accessory to a kit, not a model of the aircraft.

A set from the SPACE decal series by the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk. VI in 1:48 scale. The Beaufighter was a twin-engine heavy fighter and attack aircraft with a crew of two; the Mk. VI version is among its later forms. The set is made up of items with a raised relief and finished colors, printed on decal paper. Eduard carries several accessories with similar names for this machine, and they are told apart by the exact designation of the series.
The cockpit of a twin-engine machine has more instrument areas than a single-seat fighter, so painting the dials by hand takes a disproportionate amount of time for a result that disappears under the glazing anyway. The set deals with this part in a single application: the instrument areas get their relief and their color at once. It is applied without dipping in water: only the carrier paper is moistened, the item is lifted off with tweezers, settled into a drop of PVA glue (white glue), pressed down with a soft brush and left to dry undisturbed. Leave the softener aside while doing so; with the SPACE series it would attack the printed resin.
The set is pre-printed and is not painted over, which also determines the order of work. The whole interior of the cockpit is sprayed and weathered first, and only then do the decals come into play; the opposite order makes no sense, because no paint may go over them afterward. The area under a decal is given a gloss varnish, and once dry the whole cockpit is unified with a matte one. Choose the interior shade so that it suits the printed colors; surroundings markedly lighter or cooler will make the panel look like a foreign body. The same rule applies to the parts glued on after the surroundings have been sprayed: fit them only once nothing in the cockpit is being masked or sanded any more.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
