Eduard 1:48 Beaufighter Mk. X wheels is a set of resin replacement wheels for a model of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk. X in 1:48 scale. The accessory is aimed at the landing gear; it is not a kit.

Among accessories, wheels are a category of their own: they touch neither the cockpit nor the outer surfaces of the airframe, yet they decide how the model looks on its base. These resin wheels from the Czech firm Eduard replace the plastic parts from the kit and bring above all a sharper tread pattern and cleanly engraved detail on the wheel rim, which a mold can form only with difficulty. On a twin-engine aircraft with large main wheels the difference against a plastic part is apparent at a glance.
The Bristol Beaufighter Mk. X was the strike form of the British twin-engine heavy fighter, intended for operations over the sea. It was a fairly heavy machine with sturdy main landing gear retracting into the engine nacelles. On it the wheels are among the striking features of the lower part of a model, especially when the machine is built in a standing pose with the gear down.
Wash the resin in warm water with detergent before painting; without that, residues from manufacture stay on the surface and the primer will not take. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutting disc and never break it off. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before you glue a wheel on, check dry whether the axle from the kit fits the hole; if need be, open it out carefully with a drill. It is worth masking and painting the tire and the rim separately; the finished wheel is then dusted lightly with pigment so that it matches the surface the model will stand on.
This is an accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package. Eduard offers further sets of various extents for the Beaufighter and for different versions as well; they are told apart by the exact designation of the series and the version.
