Quickboost 1:48 Bf 109E engine is a resin detail set of an engine. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin detail set holds a faithfully rendered engine of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for the kit that makes it possible to display a model with the engine area exposed and replaces a simplified or missing engine bay with finely divided parts. It is not a stand-alone model of the aircraft.
The Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, is a German single-engine fighter from the start of the Second World War. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 601 inverted V12 engine. An exposed engine with cylinder blocks, exhausts and ancillaries is one of the telling items that come into their own above all on a diorama or a model with the cowlings open.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The engine comes into its own once it is painted in metallic shades and the detail is picked out lightly with a wash; check the fit against the particular kit.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for the kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
