A resin accessory, a propeller with a jig for the Bf 109E, from the Czech brand Quickboost in 1:48 scale - a part, not a model kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory of the Quickboost brand in 1:48 scale offering a faithfully cast propeller for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter. This is not an airplane kit but a replacement part: the set holds the propeller blades, the hub and a small jig that helps seat the blades in the hub at the correct angle and with even spacing.
The Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was an early version of the most widely built German fighter of the Second World War, powered by an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine. It carried a three-blade metal propeller with a broad spinner. Faithfully rendered blades and hub are among the prominent features of the front of a model; the resin castings have crisper leading edges than the parts from an ordinary kit.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to deal with the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw or a knife, sand the surfaces and protect your airways when sanding resin. Seat the blades in the hub with the help of the enclosed jig and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting so that the paint holds.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a stand-alone kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
