Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 fighter in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. Eduard is among the leaders in Bf 109 models and its kits stand out for fine engraving and a detailed cockpit. Depending on the particular edition, the box may contain photo-etched parts and painting masks and offer several marking options. Check the exact contents of the box, the edition and the number of schemes against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War. The G series (Gustav) brought the more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and became the most widespread version. The Bf 109G-2 of 1942 was one of the early Gustavs with relatively clean lines and without the later bulges over the gun bay. It was used on many fronts - from the Eastern Front through the Mediterranean to North Africa - and leading German fighter pilots flew it.
Paint and highlight the cockpit and its equipment before you close the fuselage; any photo-etched parts raise the detail of the instrument panel and the belts. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and mask the clear canopy while spraying (use the masks if they are in the box). Apply a primer and the colors with an airbrush, put the decals on over a gloss coat and bring out the engraved lines with a wash. Restrained wear to match front-line service suits it well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
