A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard from the Brassin line. It holds external auxiliary fuel tanks together with the racks in 1:48 scale for models of Bf 109G fighters and fills them out with decals. It is a detail accessory, not a kit of an airplane in its own right.
An auxiliary (drop) tank extended the range of the Bf 109G fighters and was hung under the fuselage on an ETC rack. The resin rendering faithfully captures the shape of the tank including the welds and the precise racks, which tend to be simplified in plastic.
Wash the parts clean of the remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand them with protection of the airways. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Lay a primer on before painting and apply the decals with the stencils over a gloss varnish.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
