This resin detail set holds faithfully cast exhausts of the Messerschmitt Bf 109K fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for the kit that replaces the simplified plastic exhausts with parts with hollow mouths. It is not a stand-alone model of the aircraft.
The Bf 109K is one of the last production patterns of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter from the end of the Second World War, powered by a Daimler-Benz engine. The exhausts are among the details that differ between the individual versions and that base kits handle in a simplified way.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhausts come into their own once they are painted in metallic and rusty shades and the thermally loaded areas are picked out lightly.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for the kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
